Pastor Dick Baker gives message today
Brother Dick Baker returns from his vacation on the high seas, spell that lake. We hope he had a good time and a good rest along with Pastor J who returned home to hear of the death of His Uncle El, who passed away a week ago Wednesday? Brother J officiated yesterday at Oakdale memorial park in Glendora at the service for his uncle at 10:00 Am. our prayers were with Brother J, as I know he was concerned about his uncle and the family. Pastor Dick Brings the Message today. Son Rich Baker demonstrated again his ability to bring the word of God in Spirit and in truth while his dad was on vacation. Rich brought us the messages of the gifts of the Spirit. Although not mentioned as a gift, Unity with another so that God can use whom ever He will in the Spirit of God is an important message for us all to learn. Where there is no unity in the body there is no manifestation of the gifts either, and we, so long for the saints of God to live in unity, so that God’s purpose for the body of Christ might be fulfilled. There is no one perfect in this world, we would like to be, but it takes work and it takes closeness with the Lord who would have His saints to love one another. We all have enough to do to keep ourselves in right relationship with our Lord without being messengers of someone else’s faults, be they new or
Thirty-five years old. Lets just love one another and leave the rest to the Lord.
Bible Verse Ephesians 4:2
…Forbearing one another in love; endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
Prayer Needs: Ginny Schulze had another setback this week as her weak body just does not seem to be able sustain the advances she makes from one day to another. Please pray with boldness and faith that God is going to undertake for her.
Continue to pray for those who have needs.
We are so thankful that Virginia Pike is back with us. prayers of the saints as we pray and believe in one accord are so effective. Pray for Helen Baker, Gayle Sunyogh, Betty Jo Flora, Please remember Judy Castro, Tino Ballas, Russel Burrows, Frances and John Weisz. Frances’ brother Frank from Florida, is with us today. Dick and Jodi Wigington, Rafiella Santellan. Our sister Sally Hernandes has needs also and has been missing for a few weeks. Monina Diaz for work, Marvin Diaz, Keep the Diaz family in your prayers. Sandra Pearman, for special needs. And Patricia Pearman is still in need of a touch from the Lord. Pray for our congregation, as the summer season is upon us we are missing more and more of the fellowship. The word of God is never stale, every time we hear it it is fresh and exciting.
